Evergreen Drop-in is a program of The Yonge Street Mission, a not-for-profit Christian faith community, that provides compassionate and non-judgemental programs to homeless and street-involved youth between 16 and 24 years of age. Programs offered include Drop-In, where they can have a warm lunch, play some pool or foosball, have some coffee and receive assistance in taking the next step towards getting themselves off the street. Art Programs, as well as Music/Dance are are provided to help teens with expression. Evergreen also provides professional counselling, substance use support, legal counsel, and life skills training. The Yonge Street Mission (YSM) will be moving Evergreen Centre to a new location, which will offer expanded services designed to accommodate the needs of Toronto’s street-involved youth and other vulnerable populations.
